  There are a lot of exceptional and genuine lawyers in Adelaide, Stacey Carter is NOT one of them.Perhaps she should stick to modelling !

  DO NOT USE CARTER & CO....Ive given 1 star rating only so l can write a review. It should be -5 stars. Carter & co have represented me as paid client & also with funding from legal aid. After paying the agreed sum up front l arrived at court to be told by a total stranger that l had no representation because l had not paid the agreed amount. After 3 adjournments l finally had the matter heard with another complete stranger representing me who had not been briefed by Stacey Carter prior to the hearing. The Legal Aid funded cases were a total disaster, once again a lawyer was sent without any of the documents l had supplied to a junior lawyer 6 weeks earlier. She had no answers for the questions the judge was asking. For 2 weeks prior to the next court date none of my calls were returned, l was totally ignored until 40 min before the case was heard. The blatant rudness & unprofessional behavior Stacey Carter displayed is shameful to the legal community.

  I had Stacey represent me on a drink driving charge. I was certain I was going to lose my license and as a result of that my job too. She was able to get me off without conviction and I kept my license and my job. I couldn't recommend this place more.

  He was left without ANY representation at IMPORTANT court appearances, NO COMMUNICATION, does not even bother to keep appointments! VERY DISORGANISED , DISINTERESTED , SELF ABSORBED and is More interested in partying and posing.

  Stacey represented my son who was on very serious charges- she was fantastic, she managed to prove his innocence and remove any stigma to his name. If it wasn't for Stacey I believe my son would of ended up in prison. Thank you Stacey, we will never forget what you did for us.

  Would not recommend Carter & Co to anyone. I have a close family member who has recently seeked legal representation from Miss Carter and she has been very unprofessional and unreliable, my family member has made multiple phone appointments that have been forgotten and not followed up also no contact with her for weeks on end and only has had contact with her or one of her employees on a couple hours or even half an hour before court hearings. Absolutely appauling service. Do not seek legal representation from Carter & Co lawyer's you will regret it !

  She may do well by you if you pay cash, however If you pay with legal aid's assistance you are probably better off representing yourself.

  Ms Carter contacted me via text after she read the above review l wrote & threatened me several times to remove my review or she would take me to court for defimation. I ignored her threats ofcourse because my review is 100% factual. It will be interesting to know if any other review writers recieved the same threats from Ms. Carter. I hope shes woken up to her disrespectful attitude & realises she cannot subject her clients to the treatment l recieved along with several clients according to the reviews below.Now l have new legal representation from another firm & l have not once had to question committment or integrity, my calls are returned & contact is kept up as it should be & my case has been managed by one senior lawyer, not a group of misinformed casual lawyers . If l recieve further threats from Ms Carter to remove my review l will continue to make it public knowledge.
