It's good place for people who are intrested in old airplanes

It was an overcast April day so we looked for things to do indoors! This is a great little museum that could benefit from renewed labelling on some of the exhibits. But we learned a lot, particularly about the early days of flight between Europe and Australia.

Fantastic museum! Clean and modern, two hangars with a number of spotlessly restored historic civilian and military planes as well with models and memorabilia of all kinds, from Spitfire to F111 via Douglas DC3 and a Sikorsky helicopter you can sit in, plenty of info about Australian aviators in the multimedia presentations and even some activities! Totally recommend, there's enough to see to keep you busy for a good afternoon.

Huge range of aircraft (including an F111 and a Spitfire) laid out extremely well with very good information. The museum holds a number of engine runs throughout the year which are worth viewing - particularly the Merlin. Very enthusiastic group of volunteers. Plenty of parking and close to other museums. Also disabled access.
